Er ist eine tolle Mischung aus frischen Limetten und natürlich viel Zucker, der  wirklich fantastisch schmeckt. Demnächst will ich mich an meine eigene Variante des Key Lime Pies machen &#8211; ich bin schon gespannt, ob ich an den Geschmack des Originals mit natürlichen Zutaten herankomme.</p>

<p>Da nicht jeder Zeit zum Backen hat, gibt es heute einen Smoothie, der meiner Meinung nach so ähnlich wie Key Lime Pie schmeckt, nur eben viel mehr Nährstoffe enthält: Key Lime Smoothie, aka Gurken und Limetten Smoothie. Der braucht weniger als 10 Minuten an Zubereitungszeit und lässt sich sogar ganz einfach in ein Glas füllen und mit zur Arbeit nehmen. Die Zutaten sind natürlich Limettensaft, Gurken (weil ich in alle meine Smoothies Gurke reinhaue), Banane (weil sie einfach das beste cremige Süßungsmittel ist), Kokosraspeln und Kokoswasser für das Urlaubsfeeling und Avocado für eine extra Portion gesunde Fette.</p>

<p>Limetten sind übrigens ganz tolle Antioxidantien-Mashinen und schützen den Körper so vor chronischen Krankheiten. Wie in allen Zitrusfrüchten ist Vitamin C auch in Limetten das Haupt-Anitoxidant, was unserem Immunsystem einen Kick gibt und unsere Zellen vor freien Radikalen schützt. Diesem Smoothie verleihen die Limetten etwas richtig Erfrischendes und fast schon Cocktailhaftes &#8211; perfekt also für die kommenden sonnigen Tage.</p>
