<p>Für meine Rezepte inspiriert mich nichts mehr als das Reisen in andere Länder, fremde Kulturen und traditionelle Restaurants. Meine neuste Inspiration ist Marokko &#8211; ein faszinierendes Land, das meiner Vorstellung von 1001 Nacht schon sehr entspricht. Zwar war ich bereits vor meinem Besuch in Marrakesch ein begeisterter Fan der marokkanischen Küche, allerdings schmeckt es vor Ort mit Blick auf den Jemma Al-Fna noch viel besser. Fasziniert bin ich durch die Gewürz-Souks geschlendert und habe mich an den fremden Gerüchen, den Farben und den herzlichen Menschen erfreut.</p>

<p>Was nehme ich als größte Inspiration aus Marokko mit? Wahrscheinlich die Minze. Täglich wurde in unserem Riad der Thé à la Menthe serviert, natürlich sehr süß, doch man bekam ihn auch ungesüßt, wenn man wollte. Die Minze wuchs einfach überall in Marrakesch – und der Duft des frisch gebrühten Minztees wird mir noch lange in Erinnerung bleiben. Natürlich war mein kulinarisches Highlight die Tajine, das typische marokkanische Schmorgericht, jedoch hat nicht jeder einen Schmortopf zu Hause, deswegen gibt es heute kein Tajine-Rezept.</p>

<p>Um es euch so einfach wie möglich zu machen, habe ich euch eine marokkanische Bowl mitgebracht, ein Mix aus geröstetem Ofengemüse, marokkanisch-gewürzten Kichererbsen, „salade marrocaine“ (aka Tomaten-Gurkensalat mit Minze), Hirse und einem wunderschönen Klecks Rote Beete Hummus in der Mitte. Kombiniert mit Hirse und frischem Salat ist diese Bowl eine wahre Power-Schüssel und wird euch geschmacklich sofort in die Medina von Marrakesch beamen.</p>

<li id="instruction-step-1">Die Hirse nach Packungsanleitung kochen. Den Backofen auf 180°C erhitzen. Das Ofengemüse waschen und in mundgerechte Stücke schneiden. Mit dem Olivenöl und den Gewürzen vermengen und ca. 30 Minuten im Ofen rösten.</li>
<li id="instruction-step-2">Die Kichererbsen abtropfen, gut abspülen und mit den Gewürzen vermengen. Zur Seite stellen.</li>
<li id="instruction-step-3">Die Tomaten und die Gurke in kleine Würfel schneiden. Zwei bis drei Stängel Minze fein hacken und dazugeben. Mit Olivenöl, Zitronensaft Salz und Pfeffer abschmecken.</li>
<li id="instruction-step-4">Für die Bowl:</li>
<li id="instruction-step-5">Zuerst den Salat auf zwei Schüsseln verteilen. Das Ofengemüse, den Tomaten-Gurkensalat, die Kichererbsen und die Hirse hübsch drüber verteilen. Zum Schluss einen großzügigen Klecks rote Beete Hummus in die Mitte geben und mit mehr gehackter Minze dekorieren.</li>
<li id="instruction-step-6">Wer mag kann noch ein Dressing aus Olivenöl, Apfelessig, Orangensaft und Tahini dazu servieren; ich finde es allerdings nicht nötig.</li>
